GoDaddy now donate domains and web services for UK charities

tt-product update

We’re delighted to announce our newest partner on the tt-exchange donation programme, GoDaddy!

GoDaddy provides domain name registrations and other related services.

Through tt-exchange, they’re offering a bundle that includes registration for your chosen domain name as well as subscriptions to GoDaddy’s Website Builder and SEO services for a year.

You can then renew your subscriptions by requesting the offer again through tt-exchange each year.

GoDaddy domains

Registering a domain name through a domain name registrar like GoDaddy allows you to use that name in the URL for your organisation’s website.

With minimal experience, you can use GoDaddy to create a website with a URL of your choosing (.org, .com or any other available top-level domain) to promote your organisation and cause.

Search Engine Visibility

The bundle on tt-exchange includes Search Engine Visibility, which is a suite of SEO and online advertising tools to help you improve your site’s search engine ranking, drive traffic to your site and make sure your charity can be easily found on Google, Bing, Yahoo! and others.

GoDaddy’s SEO services are designed to be really simple to use, and should make it easy to improve your site’s ranking, generate keywords, identify pressing SEO issues and more even if you aren’t an expert.

Website Builder

Website Builder (‘Business’) is a DIY web design app and hosting service that lets you create a customised site without any technical knowledge.

It comes with a variety of themes, 10GB online storage, 500GB bandwidth and 5 business email addresses.

Richard Craig, CEO of Tech Trust, said “GoDaddy is one of the foremost domain registrars in the world, and the fact that they provide such an easy-to-manage, scalable option makes it a great choice for most small-medium charities.”

“We use them ourselves, and we’re thrilled that they’ve agreed to extend the scheme to the UK charity sector, having already offered similar discounts to US charities.”

GoDaddy believes that its responsibility as a good corporate citizen is to make a difference in the communities in which it operates.

Their vision is to radically shift the global economy toward small business by empowering people to easily start, confidently grow, and successfully run their own ventures.
