From today, eligible UK charities can access special Adobe Creative Cloud discounts on two different plans.
Through our tt-exchange programme, eligible charities could already access donated licences of Adobe Acrobat Pro and Photoshop Elements 14 and Premiere Elements 14, but the new discounted plans will make a much wider range of creative software affordable for more charitable organisations.
The discounted plans now available are:
- Adobe Creative Cloud all apps plan – 1-year individual membership
- Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan – 1-year individual membership
Adobe Creative Cloud Complete Plan
The Adobe Creative Cloud Complete plan provides the full suite of Adobe products, including 29+ desktop apps and 10+ mobile apps that can be used to design, develop and publish graphical, video, audio and interactive content for print, the web and mobile devices.
Applications include: Adobe Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC, Dreamweaver CC, After Effects CC, Flash Professional CC and Acrobat DC among many, many others (the full list of applications is available on the Adobe website).
UK-registered charities can get 60% off an unlimited number 1-year individual memberships on Adobe’s current rates for the Complete plan and 40% off every year after. To access a discounted membership, you’d first need to pay a nominal admin fee through tt-exchange.
Unless you cancel, after the first year, you’d be renewed with a 40% discount. At current rates (as of 15th November 2015), that would mean that charities pay Adobe £219.51 for the first year and then £329.27 for any year after. We’ve put more information on how the whole process works on this FAQ page.
Adobe Creative Cloud Photography Plan
The Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan is a more stripped-back plan of Adobe products. It’s perfect if all you need to do is edit and enhance photos to a professional standard.
Eligible charities can get 20% off Adobe’s current rates for one year, after which they will switch to a standard-rate contract (there’s more info on the exact process for accessing the discounts on our Adobe charity FAQ page as well).
The plan consists of Photoshop CC and Photoshop Lightroom CC for PC or Mac, as well a range of mobile applications. The full list of applications is available on the Adobe website.
“The catalyst for positive change”
Of the discounted plans, Richard Craig, CEO of Tech Trust, said:
“Adobe has been an active supporter of the third sector for some time, and we’re delighted that they’re now discounting their complete Creative Cloud plan for charities. Being able to create professional-looking fundraising materials can make a real difference, and a lot more charities will be able to do that now.”
Michelle Yates, Director of Adobe’s Corporate Responsibility, said:
“At Adobe, we believe that creativity is the catalyst for positive change. We’re proud to collaborate with social purpose organisations, helping them achieve their missions more economically and creating meaningful impact.”
