Tech for Good partner events
We're always looking for new ways to help charities with tech.

Through Tech for Good grants and support, we're hoping to mobilise Microsoft's partner network to reach a wider charity audience than we could alone.
Microsoft has already donated over £160m in technology to support charities in their vital work, with further help now available through Office 365 donations. At Tech Trust, we’ve been helping to administer both of these initiatives since 2006.
We don’t just want to provide access to technology though, we want to help charities deploy it too.
By providing Tech4Good event grants, we’re aiming to mobilise Microsoft’s partner network to deliver workshops that help charities continue their digital transformation.
We’ve identified thousands of charities across the country who have already shown interest in using tech for good causes, and grouped them into 6 geographical clusters:
North East England
North West England
Wales
South West England
Scotland
Norfolk
If you’re a Microsoft partner operating in one or more of those areas, particularly if you have experience of working with charities, ask us about available funding and support.
Together, we can help you run an event that supports local charities, promotes Microsoft’s story and boosts your local connections.
Each workshop grant provides between £500-£1000, which can be used to pay for room hire, refreshments, etc. We expect to fund between 40 and 50 workshops, with each partner invited to run 1 – 3 sessions.
In addition to the money:
We’ll help you to advertise your events to some of our 25,000 registered charities
We’ll also provide a set of resources and support to help you engage effectively with charities and guide them on key topics and issues to address in the workshops
We can also help you to connect with local causes in your area – particularly those looking to get more out of digital technology.
